Whisker Works exists because its founder, a longtime vet tech named Marcus Lee, kept watching cat owners cancel grooming appointments the moment they heard barking through the wall. So the Old Town studio was built without a single dog in it — separate entrance, separate air handling, and a waiting area that stays quiet enough for a nervous cat to actually settle down before their appointment.

Every groomer on staff trained specifically in feline handling: reading stress signals, working in short sessions instead of one long one, and skipping sedation entirely in favor of patience and the right wrap technique. The studio also takes rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small pets by request, on the same no-dogs-in-the-building policy.
